Instructions

We recommend all users to read the following page at least once even if they have experience and knowledge with blogging features and websites.

How it Works

Summary:
(1) Register (2) Login (3) Start Blogging

Detailed instructions:
Visitors must register once to setup an account with us. After registration, each time you wish to publish and post on the website you must first login. Once you login, you will see the page displayed with more links and functions for your blogging use.

Blogging Features:

Create Content:
Click on Create Content to add a blog, or take a poll.  Each choice is defined on the Create Content page.  Once you make your selection you can start blogging on your own customized URL. The URL is the link that you see in the address bar on the top section of your browser. The URL is basically the address you normally type in to access a webpage. An example of an URL would be: i.e. http://www.iranian.asia or any other link that leads you to a webpage.  Your page will look like this:

http://www.iranian.asia/YourUserName

Blog Page:
You will see many features on the “Create Blog Page” such as Title, Body, Upload File, Embed Image, Embed Video, Comment...

Title:
You will have to choose a unique title for each blog you post. This title will also appear on the URL
i.e. http://www.iranian.asia/YourUserName/Title-Goes-Here
Please make sure the title for each of your blog posts is short in keywords, unique and relevant to the content you are publishing.

Upload Pictures (Access Given to very few bloggers due to legal issues):
You may upload pictures to your blog by clicking on the Upload File button. Then you can link your uploaded image to your content using the Yellow Mountain Icon under the Body section where you would type your content.
Copy/Paste the URL of your uploaded file. The full path for the URL is shown under the Upload File section once the uploading has been complete.

Submit Content to be published after review:
Once you are ready to publish your content online you will have to save it. Then your content is sent to one of our administrators to review before publishing. This will help moderate blogs and filter content not abiding by our rules and terms & conditions. Our administrators shall review your content as soon as possible. Once approved you will see your blog published and also listed on the My Workspace tab on the left column under Menu.

Sorting your posts and changing its order:
When you create or edit your post you will see a link called 'Node' near the bottom of the page. You can assign a number ranging from (Top -5, +5 Bottom) to adjust your posts sorting accordingly.

My Workspace:
The My Workspace link will list all of the content you published or the ones that are pending review. You may edit any of the pages you have published in the past.

Workflow Summary:
Will list all recently published or pending-for-publish content from all users.
